un producte consumit en macrofestivals i en reels de xarxes socials.
Consuelo és la nostra humil contribució per a acompanyar aquelleS persones que ho necessiten en aquests temps. També és una celebraciÓ d’una manera compartida de fer les coses i una invitació a continuar i a no rendir-se.
Com diuen els crèdits del disc de vinil: «Amb aquest àlbum, esperem que trobeu un lloc on refugiar-vos i imaginar altres sistemes possibles. Esperem que us acompanyi i us aporti consol, tal com ho ha fet amb nosaltres i continua fent-ho cada vegada que el portem a la vida.»

access to a decent life is becoming more difficult while the richest have never been so rich, and addressing the climate crisis is postponed due to short-term interests.
Immersed in this landscape, we seek solace in small communities that challenge the techno-feudalist logic and propose new hopeful solutions. We seek relief in music, and in the human fabric that articulates it, resisting capital's efforts to turn it into a product to be consumed at macro-festivals and in social media reels.
Consuelo is our humble contribution to accompanying those who need it in these times. It is also a celebration of a shared way of doing things, and an invitation to keep going and not give up.
As the vinyl album credits say: "With this album, we hope you find a place to take refuge and imagine other possible systems. We hope it accompanies you and brings you solace, as it has done for us and continues to do every time we bring it to life."

Després de cinc intensos anys d'escenaris arreu, de trens, cotxes, avions, d'un gaudi immens, després de saber que SÍ, que és possible fer camí sense gravar discos, ni singles, ni videoclips, després que les nostres músiques siguin cada vegada menys improvisades i més tancades, després de construir-nos el nostre estudi a casa... hem decidit trencar amb el dogma de no gravar, tancar aquesta etapa i avançar cap a noves rutes.
Hem gravat un disc, ha sigut inoblidable, i aquest també ha estat un dels motius per a fer-ho: no oblidar. Deixar constància d'una mateixa entre temps líquids, gairebé gasosos. Però també ho fem per a SÍ oblidar: oblidar el que s’ha fet, atorgar-li un lloc i deixar espai a allò nou.
Diverses setmanes tancades a casa gravant i produint al nostre aire, moments de nervis, riures, eufòria i satisfacció. Assaig, error, prova, fracàs, sorpresa. Dies sencers aguditzant l'escolta i mesclant amb el savi Santi García. Múltiples ordres de cançons i calendaris amb Sergio Picón. Masteritzat amb l'estimat Álvaro Gallego que ha aconseguit fer cruixir els pèls i que sonin netes fins a les respiracions. Els nostres Todojunto l'han dissenyat i ho hem empaquetat en l'Automàtica.
Continuem fidels a la nostra manera de fer, evitant enfangar-nos en la gran roda productiva de la indústria musical. Continuarem envoltant-nos de persones que estimem, respectem i admirem pels seus gestos, el seu talent i sobretot perquè els seus cors vibren amb els nostres.
Amigues, gràcies per les llargues converses, per haver-hi escoltant i aclarit les mil i un dubtes, per estovar neures i per regalar saviesa i amor a aquestes dues que escriuen.

After five intense years of performing here and there, of trains, cars, planes, of immense enjoyment, after realizing that YES, it’s possible to carve your own path without recording albums, singles, or music videos; after our music has become less improvised and more structured; after building our own home studio… we’ve decided to break with the dogma of not recording, to close this chapter, and move toward new paths.
We’ve recorded an album — it’s been unforgettable — and that’s also one of the reasons we did it: to not forget. To leave a trace of ourselves amid these liquid, almost gaseous times. But we also did it to forget: to let go of what’s been done, give it a place, and make space for what’s new.
Several weeks locked up at home recording and producing at our own pace — moments of nerves, laughter, euphoria, and satisfaction. Trial, error, testing, failure, surprise. Entire days sharpening our ears and mixing with the wise Santi García. Countless song orders and schedules with Sergio Picón. Mastered by the esteemed Álvaro Gallego, who managed to make our hair stand on end and made even our breaths sound clean. Our dear Todojunto designed it, and we packaged it at l’Automàtica.
We remain faithful to our way of doing things, avoiding getting bogged down in the big productive wheel of the music industry. We’ll keep surrounding ourselves with people we love, respect, and admire for their gestures, their talent, and above all because their hearts resonate with ours.
